Use your shield to protect against enemy fire.
Change it's polarity to reflect different colored shots.
Changing polarity to the opposite of the enemy's color increases the effectiveness of your shots.
Some enemies will drop 'Eclipse Tokens'. Collect these to increase your score.
At times a power-up will also be dropped. Collect these to enhance your ship for a short while.
Shooting the power-up pod changes it's weapon type. Note the pod can only take a low number of hits before it's destroyed.
Destroying enemies of the same color increases your hit chain, which will give you a large points bonus.
Every 100,000 points you will be awarded an extra ship
